I wanted to mark a location I flew over, so I used the option to create a user defined waypoint.
That was simple....
I then wanted to have that waypoint available on my Skydemon Plan (on my Win 11 laptop).
I couldn't figure out how to get the waypoint onto PC plan so had to ask the Skydemon helpdesk.
As usual, a quick response.
However, the process is very "clunky" and took approximately 10 separate actions to get the waypoint "synced" to SD plan.
Could this be an area for future improvement to make the waypoint "sync" operation more user friendly?
Thanks
Tony

That's kind of the system we arrived at already, after (I promise) a great deal of consideration. The foldered storage of user waypoints, that is, which was invented in order to support waypoint syncing with a minimum potential for data loss.

One idea might be to make the UI for moving waypoints between folders a little easier, but it's not an obvious UI action so I'm not sure about that. It's also not clear how much of a widespread annoyance this is between users - I'd be curious to get input from others on here.

I cant't say the current method is a big bugbear for me as I don't drop user waypoints that often and when I do it tends to be for quite temporary purposes so I don't save them long term.

HI Tim,
It's not a great issue for me...
I don't often create user defined way points and, personally, have only created a few.
However,  I was surprised by the number of steps I had to go through to sync the few I had created.
I couldn't figure out why my attempts to sync didn't work, so had to contact Hannah to find out what to do. Perhaps more info needed in the User manual?
Compared with other actions and processes in SD, syncing way points just seems very clunky.
Thanks
